Lifting electromagnets

Lifting electromagnets are designed to lift and move sheets, bars and scrap of ferromagnetic materials with the help of ferromagnetic field which is formed when current flow throw the magnet coil. The magnets are to be attached to cranes and other hoisting machines at metallurgical plants, scrap yards and ship-building warfs.

Special characteristics of lifting electromagnets 

We produce a wide range of lifting electromagnets varying in their size, dead weight and lifting capacity (light, medium, heavy and super heavy). Magnets of light and medium categories are standard, they have optimal characteristics for lifting capacity and energy consumption in case of light-duty cranes, heavy and super-heavy categories of electromagnets have increased capacity because of special engineering solutions and technologies, which help to intensify and redistribute magnetic fluxes.

Computer simulation allows to obtain even distribution of magnetic field on the working surface of the electromagnet, which increases the volume and weight of the raised scrap.

The reduction of lifting capacity is minimum during heating process.

Terminal box fitted out with hinged lid, which eliminates splashes ingestion inside the terminals and increases product service life.

Applied insulating materials and compounds have a high electrical breakdown voltage, high thermal conductivity and moisture resistance. Allowable heating temperature of materials is not below 220 °C, what indicates the high reliability of our products.

Magnet casing can be cast or welded with the same technical characteristics.

It is possible to manufacture products in tropical version, with thermal protection for hot load, and for underwater work (IP 68).

We can produce special electromagnets for specificcustom's needs.

Before shipment all the ready lifting electromagnets are tested for the correspondence to the stated technical data such as heat and tear-off characteristic, capacity on scrap and plate.
